Commercial success should create value beyond the business

Because of the way we distribute or profits Exceptional People is classed as a social enterprise.

We operate commercially and aim to be profitable, but our purpose extends beyond the success of the business itself.

This means that social value is generated through our everyday work. It is not an occasional campaign or an activity added at the end of the year; it is built into the way the business operates.

The Olinda Partnership

In 2023 Exceptional People established the Olinda Partnership, a UK-based not-for-profit initiative focused on community wellbeing and food security, rooted in permaculture and organic growing.

Wider impact

Other initiatives have included:

  • Purchasing 7.5 acres of rice paddy to provide a sustainable source of food for an orphanage community in Myanmar
  • Providing 50 beehives and a honey press to an orphanage in Kenya, creating both a source of food and an income-generating activity.
  • Establishing an annual Christmas initiative through which approximately 1,000 hampers have been donated to UK families experiencing financial hardship.
  • In 2026, we donated £38,000 in seed funding to establish an art therapy initiative across a global network of orphanages.

We favour practical projects capable of creating tangible and lasting value. As the business grows, so does our capacity to support them.

Every client engagement and every Associate assignment contributes to making this work possible. We are sincerely grateful to the organisations and people who choose to work with Exceptional People.
